Information: One of the best Black Sea resorts in Bulgaria. Here you will find excellent conditions for spa treatment thanks to the curative mineral spring. The resort is some 10 km away from Varna - the sea capital, and is a wonderful combination of sea, age-old forests and mineral water. The first Bulgarian seaside resort St.Constantine has an ancient history, exotic character and modernity all in the midst of natural park with a broken coastline, small bays and scatteres cliffs - a paradise for anglers and divers. The resort is named after the local monastery that was build no one knowns when. The Kalogersko Shoushoukane wine is said to have been made there. A small church halfway under the ground with regular services is the only surviving structure. This was favorite recreational place for the people of Varna long before the Liberation; the richer ones had rooms reserved for them in the monastery; others built summer houses amidst the woods. The first holiday house that was visited by Czech, Poles and Germans was built in 1908.
